When you trust
your body to someone in pursue of a better and
healthier body, that person should be someone who knows what they are doing,
and who understands your physical limitations.
You need someone who is responsible, attends to your needs, listens and
understands your goals, has pride in what they do, understands Kinesiology,
keeps appropriate client records and maintains confidentiality, and keeps
up to date and follows exercise testing guidelines outlined by the American
College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and other leading fitness establishments.
The bottom line is that you want someone who is knowledgeable and who will
help you reach your fitness goals in a safe way, and I believe I am
that someone.
Exercise does carry certain risks which can result in
serious soft tissue and skeletal injuries, therefore adequate exercise
knowledge is necessary in order to avoid those consequences. I take the
time to keep myself up to date with the latest exercise techniques
and guidelines by reading books and magazines, attending seminars,
and taking tests which are required to maintain my personal trainer certification.
I believe that someone paying for my services should receive my best efforts in
return. I take personal pride and joy when I see my clients reach their goals,
whatever
those goals are. Some goals take a bit longer and require more effort to achieve,
but the end results is what counts.
